چکیده

• Spinning frequency > 68 kHz of 2 mm spherical rotors using helium spinning gas. Magic angle adjustment at 59.3 KMnO4. Nonregulated stability ±0.5% during data acquisition. Improvements on stator and RF coil results in three-fold increase NMR sensitivity. Customized narrow-bore transmission line probe for spheres. Spherical are a new paradigm magic (MAS) solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The simple geometry makes smaller diameter spheres their utilization within probes feasible. Here we report gas outside the magnet demonstrate use KMnO 4 to adjust MAS NMR. We observe third-order sidebands 55 Mn spectrum clearly showing kHz, with KBr nearly no first-order similar frequency. was acquisition without regulation. To address concerns about low filling factor spheres, employ modified achieve three times higher sensitivity then our previous geometries Advanced rotor fabrication technologies expected further

A general protocol for temperature calibration of MAS NMR probes at arbitrary spinning speeds.

A protocol using (207)Pb NMR of solid lead nitrate was developed to determine the temperature of magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR probes over a range of nominal set temperatures and spinning speeds. Using BioMAS and FastMAS probes with typical sample spinning rates of 8 and 35 kHz, respectively, empirical equations were devised to predict the respective sample temperatures. These procedures provi...

DNP-enhanced solid-state NMR spectroscopy under magic angle spinning (MAS) is rapidly developing into a powerful analytical tool to investigate the structure of a wide range of solid materials, because it provides unsurpassed sensitivity gains. Most developments and applications of DNP MAS NMR were so far reported at moderate spinning frequencies (up to 14 kHz using 3.2 mm rotors). Here, using ...

Sealed rotors for in situ high temperature high pressure MAS NMR.

Here we present the design of reusable and perfectly sealed all-zirconia MAS rotors. The rotors are used to study AlPO4-5 molecular sieve crystallization under hydrothermal conditions, high temperature high pressure cyclohexanol dehydration reaction, and low temperature metabolomics of intact biological tissue.

31P CP/MAS NMR of polycrystalline and immobilized phosphines and catalysts with fast sample spinning

Cross-polarization (CP) at fast magic angle spinning (MAS) frequencies leads to a splitting of the Hartmann–Hahn (HH) matching profile into a centerband and additional bands of higher orders. The matching profiles differ with the substance categories. Therefore, signal intensity is usually lost, when e.g. the routine standard NH4H2PO4 is used for optimizing the 1H–31P HH match prior to measurin...
